Obamas Heading to South Africa for Mandela Memorial Service

This morning, Barack and Michelle Obama aboard the Air Force One to South Africa for anti-apartheid icon leader, Nelson Mandela‘s national memorial service.

Among the Obamas, they are joined by Former George W. Bush and former first ladies – Laura Bush and Hilary Clinton – while Bill Clinton will meet them in Johannesburg because he’s departing from Rio de Janeiro for the Clinton Initiative event. As well as, former president Jimmy Carter will join them in Jo’burg later. Lastly, due to the traveling distance – the 89 year-old George H. W. Bush will not be in attendance.
