A new poll shows how common trust in people is a thing of the past. American’s don’t trust each other anymore. It is not a loss of faith in big institutions or religion but rather we have become increasingly suspicious of each other. In the AP-Gfk survey it shows less than one-third expressed a lot of trust in clerks who swipe their credit cards, drivers on the road, or people they meet when traveling. Have we lost faith in others because their behavior has become so uncivilized?
