DFW Airport: Tornadoes Damaged Planes, Hundreds Of Flights Cancelled

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled the day after the DFW area took a hit from a series of  twisters. Reports confirm that as many as 13 tornadoes touched down on Tuesday.  Two areas have been declared a disaster zones. Arlington and  Forney.  The skies over DFW airport went black at about 1:25 pm yesterday  and  more than 100 aircraft were damaged by baseball size hail as the storm plowed over the airport.   454 flight were cancelled 1500 passengers were stranded at DFW Airport overnight. Today the picture has  not improved for many travelers, Wednesday morning weather started with thick fog in the area.
