Black History Month: Harriet Tubman Wax Figure Unveiled In DC

    Harriet Tubman is perhaps the most well-known “conductor” of the Underground Railroad. During a ten- year span she made 19 trips into the South and escorted 300 slaves to freedom. Records indicate she once told Frederick Douglas that in all of her voyages “she never lost lost a passenger.”

    The woman called “Moses of her people”.
